Our client had claims ranging from toys and electronics going off an on by themselves. Also the clients child claimed to see a man climbing on the ceiling fan and claimed to see a green man who could not speak.

G.P.P.S. investigators spent 4 hours at the location and conducted a thorough investigation. Our equipment used during the investigation ranged from Mini DV video, digital audio records, EMF gauge, digital thermometer and digital camera's

Fortunately, for our client we did not come up with any ghostly evidence of haunting. We were able to disprove or come up with a logical explanation for the activity our client was experiencing.

I would like to think that our client could feel at ease in her own home after our visit.

G.P.P.S. investigators have closed this case and deemed that the house is NOT HAUNTED.

Our clients' claims of activity included toys going on and off by themselves, shoes being laced up after they were untied and strange noises throughout the home.

G.P.P.S. conducted a complete investigation into all of the clients claims. Most of the activity that we could not explain took place in the clients basement. We ended up getting some strange EMF readings throughout the basement that we just could not explain.

We were able to come up with a logical explanation for the toys to go off by themselves or at least appear to activate themselves. It appears that some of the toys will turn on automatically to keep the child's attention on the toy. We are not saying that this happens every time but could explain what our client may have been experiencing.

While in the basement we tried to get responses to our questions using our audio recorders and our EMF Gauge. At the time it appears that the EMF gauge was activating to our commands but unfortunately, we could not get any other evidence to back this up.

G.P.P.S. investigators have closed this case and have deemed that this house is NOT HAUNTED.

McCook County Courthouse

There were over ten credible claims ranging from noises to full body shadow people. The reports indicated what could be residual and intelligent haunting, so our team entered the investigation site with the intent on scientifically proving or disproving many of the claims.

All of the reported claims were incidents that occurred at night by the McCook County Sheriff's Department deputies, with the exception of one that was reported by the former Salem Police Chief. All of the claims also revolved around the third floor area, which included the courtroom and the former jail, which is now used as evidence storage and an attorney conference room.

The team investigated the site from 8:55pm until 1:00am, conducting 10 separate rotations into the building. Due to the size of the building, we were able to have two simultaneous investigation rotations ongoing at all times. We had one team on the 3rd Floor with the other team situated in the basement. During most of the rotations, EVP sessions were conducted and various equipment was deployed in an attempt to capture recorded evidence.

Although there were at least three different personal experiences in the basement, none of these were captured on any recording device. Two investigators reported seeing a "shadow head" popping up several times in a span of two minutes. This was independently observed by two separate investigators at the same time. Later, during a different investigation, one of the investigators felt like a veil of darkness was surrounding him and he claims he saw a glowing ball of light that encircled his leg, then went behind a projection screen.

On the third floor, the investigators focused on the former jail area, where a full body shadow person was observed by a deputy earlier this spring. In this location, feelings of being watched were observed by many of the investigators. It was in this room that two recorded EVP's were captured which are attached with this investigation.

Based on the claims, personal experiences, and the collected evidence, the team decided that we believe there was not enough evidence recorded to call the place haunted. We believe that there might be activity that could be of a paranormal origin, but with only the two EVP's and the few personal experiences, we feel that a follow up would seem almost mandatory for us to call this investigation site officially haunted.

We talked to our point of contact representing the investigation site regarding a possible investigation in the near future. We feel that after we can acquire some new equipment we have ordered, it may be easier to record some of the personal experiences that we encountered and gain enough evidence to safely call this investigation site officially haunted.

We also discussed that there was an unnecessary amount of noise contamination due to the large team rotations. Having five people in a room can almost certainly draw out accidental noises. Our team has discussed only have two or three in a rotation at a time in our future investigations.

With this said, we feel that at this time, it is INCONCLUSIVE whether or not the McCook County Courthouse is haunted or not. We hope to complete a second investigation in October or November of 2009.

Based on the client's claims, the EVP evidence we collected and our personal experiences in the residence, it supports a belief that paranormal activity does occur at this house. With that said, we would like to continue to help support the family through their claims and any future activity that occurs.

During our reveal, we plan to discuss different options the family may want to consider to assist them. We also strongly believe that by taking control over their home and telling any unknown entities in the residence that they live there now and want the spirits to leave will empower the client into a more powerful stance against the entities. We definitely plan to conduct follow up with the clients to see how things have progressed since our investigation, and continue frequent follow ups as a support service to ensure that the family is comfortable. Normally, with a site this active, we would want to go back and conduct further investigations. But, we want to help the family with these issues first and foremost. If, after we propose different options, the activity remains, we would strongly consider returning to this site.

With the limited evidence we received, at this time, we are comfortable with calling this case INCONCLUSIVE.

This was our most interesting case to date. We were contacting by Siouxland Paranormal Research Society about this case. S.P.R.S. had investigated this location before and they were looking for a fresh perspective on this case.

The clients claims ranged from seeing an apparition of an old man to seeing black mists and hearing voices. We armed ourselves with equipment ranging from K2 meter, Mini DV camcorders, EMF detectors and digital voice recorders.

The evening started off fairly quickly when Dave and Amy from S.P.R.S. and Travis from G.P.P.S. entered the basement to conduct an EVP session . Soon after Travis asked for a response to his knocking and appeared to receive a response stating "No" out loud. Only Travis and Amy heard the voice. Unfortunately, that was the only personal experience that was encountered in the basement.

Later in the evening, all 3 members of G.P.P.S. (AJ, Travis, Whitney) investigated the living room of the residence. During our time in the living room Travis was taking pictures and had asked if the presence wanted it's picture taken. Right at this moment we received a hit on our K2 meter. This happened for several minutes every time Travis this question and right on queue. Also while on the main level of the home.

Travis thought he felt a cold spot in the home and at the same time it appeared that we caught a EVP located on our findings page. Shortly after the cold spot incident, all 3 investigators attempted an EVP session with the help of the K2 meter. We were asking specific questions and asked for responses from the K2 meter. We were asking for 1 flash on the K2 for yes, 2 flashes for no. After about 15 minute session it appeared that we received responses to our questions on the K2 meter.

We had a great time with this investigation and enjoyed working with all of the members from S.P.R.S. and look forward to working with them in the future. With our results and of the evidence that we gathered, we deemed this location to be HAUNTED.

Our clients' claims ranged from children's toys turning off and on without batteries, a rubber ball rolling across the floor without explanation. Lights shutting on and off and unexplained noises.

We entered the home trying to logical explanations for all of the occurrences. We noticed that the rubber ball was sort of lop sided which may indicate as to why it seemed to roll around by itself. Some of the claims we could not find a logical explanation for.

Some of our investigators did have some personal experiences while investigating in the home. We noticed some strange lights that we could not explain and also had some strange EMF readings. We even had our EMF gauge knocked over at one point. Unfortunately, these are only personal experiences. Without the hard evidence to back this up they become merely good stories.

We have deemed this location INCONCLUSIVE, due to lack of physical evidence.

(Follow-up Investigation)

This is a follow-up investigation to our completed investigation from 9-4-09.

This time our clients claimed that something was harming their household pets. Claims also ranged from friends being poked, hair being pulled even witnessing a shadow figure forming on the ceiling moving to the floor and disappearing at the blink of an eye.

In order to try and get a response from whatever may be in the home, we asked our clients to leave their kitten at home with us.

We investigated for five solid hours with no personal experiences, in fact we were getting more activity from the kitten then from any presence that may be in the home.

It wasn't until we reviewed the evidence that we realized that we were not alone in the home. One of the audio recordings we found seemed to validate our clients claims and seems to be the best EVP we have captured to date.

With all of the evidence being reviewed for this investigation past and present, we have changed the status from inconclusive to HAUNTED.

As with all of our investigations, GPPS enters an investigation to try and disprove a haunting.

Our client claims events have been taking place in their home for the last 8 years. Such things as disappearing and turning up sometime later, stereo turning on by themselves, doors closing by themselves etc. Things have increased in intensity in the last 2 months. Things being thrown at their son, scratches at the bathroom door. Even a full body apparition.

We used a variety of equipment for this investigation. Audio recorders, EMF detectors, K2 Meters including our brand new Digital Video Recorder with 4 Infrared Cameras.

The investigation lasted nearly 6 hours with no personal experiences. Unfortunately, we were unable to disprove any of our clients claims. The clients also reported some strange EMF readings that he encountered upon purchasing his own EMF detector. We were able to account for the possible EMF fluctuations. We noticed that when ever the furnace kicked on it would send a surge of high EMF readings through out the home.

Unfortunately, there was not enough evidence to claims this residence haunted. But we were able to come up with one impressive EVP. Because of this we have deemed this case as Inconclusive. We have already scheduled a follow up investigation for early March of 2010.
